Clouds and mountains may cast impressive shadow rays into the sky.
If the sun is low or even below the horizon, the streaks may reach all
across
the entire sky. These crepuscular rays seem to converge in the
antisolar
point, the point of the sky just opposite the sun, and are
therefore called
anti-crepuscular. This is, however, just a matter of
viewing perspective.
In 3D-space the rays are parallel beams.
