Watch the changing night sky above the Allgaeu Alps. The darkness changes due to different levels of light pollution throughout the night. The photographic settings did not change after dusk at about 19:30 CET (18:30 UT). Simultaneous measurements with a Sky Quality Meter (SQM) in the zenith show a decreasing brightness from about 21,0 mag / (")2 at 21 CET to 21,5 mag / (")2 at 2 CET. A strong light source is the night skiing at Oberjoch / Bad Hindelang until about 21:30 CET, which takes place every thursday in the winter. The cities of Sonthofen and Immenstadt dim their lights down. Green airglow can be seen later in the night.
